Oceans choking on CO2, study finds

In Uncategorized on July 14, 2010 at 7:08 pm

Oceans are considered one of the fastest decreasing ecosystems. Our oil consumptions has created suposes green house gases that is warming the earth and destroying  our most precious and neccisary eco systems. Somthing that we should remember is that before the earth went into its last ice age there was a global heating, and more research should be done than the greenhouse gas theary is totally exepted.

Eithier way humans are in trouble, we no from disney about the circle of life and thee need of a coninuing feeding system for life on this earth to be substained. And we no from television that coral reffs and other marine life are amazing and butiful habitats. You could consider this as a re-amp for the earth. Some look at the earth as living creature in its self and we could very much be considered its cancer. Our metropolis all over the its surface realesing manufactured chemicals poisining the earth its other hosties and even our selves. If we did bring this global warming on our selfes hopefully there is a way to stop it and save the planet but doing so i think is somthing most of the three hundred million in america and billions of others around the globe would be willing to invest in,Definitly the powerful investors that rely on tranportation of people and goods around the world and our products in which the waste is dumped int our oceans and holes in the ground, who would lose profit and possiby there buisnes. We rely on these things to much to make a drastic change. If we dont hough the world mike make a drastic change before we do.

African American Mississippi Man Starts Record Sixth Murder Trial

In Uncategorized on July 14, 2010 at 6:42 pm

If 4 trials arnt enef to convict someone then why keedp then in jail for over a decade. Even if the state believes that this individual is a dangerous problem it isnt there place to hold a citizen that long without a conviction. The police harasing The law student headed to the court house i believe is a sighn that racism is still a problem in rural areas.Possibly holding Mr. Flowers over a decade can be reason enuf to realease him for a crime he was never convicted for.

US tent cities highlight new realities as recession wears on

I don’t understand how we have things like welfare  and such but there are families on the streets, kids, i don’t get how this would be accepted by any government official and excepted as a norm.We have people enlisting to the military as a source of income, and for funding to go to school ,when its the wars that’s bankrupting this country.I think Barrack Obamma had no idea what he was promising  when he said he would pull troops out of the middle east ,he mustve seen how unrealistic it was when he was got elected.

We all no how it is to see bum rolling through your ally picking through the trash, some people get mad because they make a mess ,but most of us just keep to our selves and let them be on there way.Now imagine walking   through a seemingly abandoned path when you stumble upon what seems like hundreds tents bunched together where homeless families spend the day picking garbage for food and looking for jobs and at knight gather by huge bonfires  to gather what they could scrounge up.Well i would probably stand for a moment in disbelief then be on my way not wanting to shame these people for there situations.Truth is this is happening everyday to the 200 residents of Sacramento’s Tent City.Modern day shanty towns, maybe by the end of his presidency they’ll be named after Obamma.

Chris Brown-Rihanna incident could be ‘teachable moment’

In Uncategorized on July 14, 2010 at 4:34 am

First off Chris Brown is my dream man! not really.I guess i can understand how some  could have been surprised by what happened between these two pop divas. I personally get enjoyment from these rude awakenings. I don’t understand how people could hold these human beings on such a high pedi stool. And second i don’t understand how they could be considered positive role models for our youth ,hes the kind of guy you want your daughter to bring home? I seen a video of his concert were he was shirtless thrusting his pelvis in the air with young girls screaming in a sold out arena around him ,this is what he sings his love songs to.

As far as the domestic dispute i agree i believe its common ,iv seen it in adults and teens.I’m not exactly sure why  people put themselves through such bullshit.Their are lots of causes ,watching abuse at home, jealously and some do it because they enjoy it.I wouldn’t consider this Chris Brown incident as something  that is eye opening for our youth ,if teens are experiencing abuse hands on or are in an environment with abuse it becomes something inbeded in them. The only way to help them is support  and a real want to change there ways.

Nebraska city approves illegal-immigrant law

In Uncategorized on July 14, 2010 at 3:46 am

I have my own issues with illegal immigration, tho lawfully denying housing and work for anybody is wrong and UN American. First off i believe that if you want to move to a foreign country you should take the proper steps-doing it legally, learning culture ,ext…, i also understand that for some people taking the legal steps aren’t an option, but that works both ways for the domestic and the foreigners.Denying housing is denying shelter and denying work is denying necessary living essentials witch is inhumane.Creating a law in witch one has to get a permit to rent housing is a giant step on personal rights, legal or not.

I have sympathy for some people that i consider Americans but aren’t legal.I attended a  high school that had a Hispanic majority, When senior year was coming to an end the question came up of what colleges were people attending and   unexpectedly i learned that some  people that i knew for  years were in fact illegals and were having problems getting into or couldn’t  get into a school because they didn’t have  social security numbers. These were people that i would in all counts consider American by my standards ,they grew up learning American culture ,they worked hard at school  and wanted to have careers.Denying these residents the right to work or even deny them shelter in the only country they no, to me is the same as betraying a legal citizen, We need to stop this harasing on the latest immigrants migrating here that just about every minority had to experience in this nations history. At the same time i  believe that the current Mexican immigrants have to be respectful of our current financial concerns and worries of taking care of our own first.

The dark side of the farmers’ market boom

In Uncategorized on July 14, 2010 at 2:49 am

I think anybody looking for a wide variety of fruits and veggies would find a farmers market delightful.Compared to food found at our local produce stores, things might seem…. kind of exotic, when it comes  to consumption of products most of us are content on the facts that the product is there and in this case that we are told that it is more organically grown than what we are use to. So on that said  I’m not sure if the situation of small farmers  choosing  to travel to urban environments were  they can sell there goods for a outstanding profit is totally bad.

Sure i understand what the article is saying when it points out that instead of selling  in there own community, the farmers are choosing to go for out of there local sectors …also  that  they are tripling there usual prices in some cases.Any body will tell you that the reason for this is PROFIT!, personally i believe that  that if these farmers have a community in need of there product in there own region then they have a far greater chance of  making profits and having a stable outlet of consumers, instead of bouncing around market to market trying to gain a cult like following for there edibles. But in America profit has always been number one.And i also don’t see anything wrong with that.If these farmers see the chance to make big on these untapped resources that are willing to come to them, then WHATS WRONG WITH THAT?
